Peru captain Paolo Guerrero has suspended provisionally. According to the reports FIFA has been banned Ghungroo due to the failure of the drug test. As a result, this forward will not be able to play in the World Cup play-off. Paulo become the greatest forward and to absent from the match will be danger for the team Peru.
The Peruvian Football Federation said in a statement that Guerrero’s drug test was done after the Peruvian goalless draw with Argentina on 5th October at the World Cup qualifying. FIFA disciplinary committee has given this ban as being positive in drag tests.
It is known to the Peruvian Football Federation that, after the match against Argentina which played on 5th October, Paolo was subjected to an anti-doping control and in the test he found as guilty.
On a sudden FIFA Disciplinary Committee President informed that the captain will be suspended provisionally for 30-days. The Football Federation of Peru respect the FIFA’s decision and they obviously trusted the complain. They also believed that the problem will be solved very soon and soon the captain join the side.
FPF mentioned that Paolo, the captain became the leader of their squad. Without any doubt he plays a vital role for the whole squad. The captain such a very talented guy who hold the ability of changing the game. And such a important game without him will be very difficult to win.
The value of the decent forward and his contribution really very important and it is really a difficult moment for the whole team to find out the alternative of the captain.
Brazilian Football Confederation said that Guerrero could have still chance to provide proof that he had not taken unpermitted element without warning his national team Peru and also Flamengo.
Fernando Solera mentioned that Guerrero must be justified for the matter, because this being the serious matter. He think that actually it is not a doping case at all.
Solera also accused that Flamengo can show the proof that Guerrero has not taken any illegal thing or element at the time of playing the Brazilian side.
Peru will face New Zealand on 11th and 16th November to reach in Russia World Cup. If they win it, they will play in the World Cup for the first time since 1982.
Brazilian club Flamengo player has scored 84 goals in 84 matches for the national team. On 11th October, the 33-year-old Guerrero, has presented in the final match of Peru, against Colombia in the WC qualifier.
